There are Six Steps During Checkout that Affect Your Price

1) Select Mount Type - Inside or Outside

Solar Shades can be mounted either within the window frame (inside mount) or to the wall or molding surrounding the window (outside mount). Inside Mounts provide a built-in look and require the window frame to be deep enough (3/4" is the minimum required depth).

Outside Mounts - These are mounted to the wall, the molding surface around the window or the ceiling and can be used to hide a less attractive window. There is no minimum depth.

2) Measure for Your Solar Shade

Inside - Measure the inside width at the top of the window. Measure the height from the right, middle and left side of the window and use the largest of your measurements to ensure proper coverage.

Ouside - Measure the widdth of the area you are trying to cover, it is recommended that you add 2" to each side for complete coverage. This total will be your ordering width. Measure the height of the area you are trying to cover and this will be your ordering length.

3) Choose Your Control Position - Left or Right

This is simply just the side which you will be controlling the shade from. It can hang on the left or right. Consider any objects that may be in the way such as furniture or door handles.

4) Select Your Bracket Color

This is simply a personal preference.

5) Select Your Roll Type:

The SunSaver Solar Shades can roll regular or in reverse. The Regular Roll allows the shade to remain close to the casing on an outside mount and the shade fabric falls off the back of the roll. The Reverse Roll provides a finished look when not adding a valance and allows for additional clearance. The shade fabric falls off the front of the roll and keep in mind that the reverse roll is not available when ordering a shade with valance.

6) Select Bottom Bar Style:

There are two options to choose from, a Sewn-In Style and an Exposed Style. The Sewn-In style ensures that the bar is not visible and provides stability as the metal bar is placed into a pocket at the bottom of the shade. The Exposed style has a decorative metal bar that essentially provides a sleek look based on several colors including white, silver, or espresso. There is an added charge for these.
